American Legion Banquets a Big Hit

Shelby City Park played host to the American Legion Baseball Regional and World Series Banquets on August 13 and 21. With over 400 attendees, former New York Yankee great Bobby Richardson was the guest speaker at the Regional Banquet. Joe Garagiola Jr, senior vice president of baseball operations for Major League Baseball and former general manager of the Arizona Diamondbacks spoke at the World Series banquet before a crowd of over 700 people. Hats off to all that made these events a huge success!
