Parks and Recreation : March for babies 2014
The Cleveland County March for Babies is being held on Saturday October 4, 2014 at the Shelby City Park. This year’s event is expected to raise over $18,000 and have 350+ walkers come together to raise money and awareness for the March of Dimes so that one day, all babies will be born healthy and on time.
Registration for the walk begins at 9:00AM with the walk to began at 10:00AM. Other fun events are also scheduled at the City Park.

The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. The mission is accomplished through research, community service, public and professional education and advocacy.
