The Shelby AllStars will play in the Tar Heel league       12 & Under Girls State Fastpitch Softball Tournament In

Smithfield N.C. Thursday, July 24th - Sunday, July 27th.

Friday, July 25th

Shelby City Park's Ponytail softball all-stars were eliminated by Western Harnett 11 - 5 in the Tar Heel Leagues 12 and under girl's softball tournamentin Smithfield. Shelby was led a the plate by Bailey White with 2-hits, Liana Stachowicz and Teresa Cornelius with one hit each.

Thursday, July 24th

Shelby City Park's Ponytail softball all-stars (ages 12-and-under) fell in the opening round of the state tournament at Smithfield on Thursday.
The Shelby entry bowed to Erwin, 10-5. The Shelby all-stars now play at noon today against Western Harnett. A victory would put them into a 4 p.m. contest in the lower bracket.
Lexi Poston, Bailey White and Kateland Cornelius provided two hits apiece for Shelby.

Winning Pitcher: Lexi Poston, pitched a no hitter. Kendall Bridges and Ally Barber had 2 hits each to lead S&M Sports.

Winning Pitcher: Bailey White, pitched a no hitter. White also had 2 hits and Madison Duncan had 1 hit to lead Ultra Machine.

Winning Pitcher: Lexi Poston, Morgan McNamara and Destiny Lee had 2 hits each and Lexi Poston had 1 hit to lead S&M Sports. Taylor Crotts had 1 hit to pace Cleveland Yutaka.

Winning Pitcher:Kelly Corneilus, Kendall Keller had 2 hits to lead Fallston Pharmacy. Meg Binon and Ashley Heath had 1 hit each and Drew Maybry had 2 hits to pace Cleveland Yutaka.

Polkville VFW-11 S&M Sports-1

Winning Pitcher: Liddy Byrd, Leann York had 2 hits and Emily Turner had 1 hit to lead Polkville VFW.

Tuesday, June 17th

Winning Pitcher: Bailey White, White 3hits including a Homerun and Shannon Ingold and Jesse Hansen and Liana Stachowicz had 1 hit each to lead Ultra Machine. Abby Whitiker had a Homerun to pace Cleveland Yutaka.
