A contractor for the City of Shelby will be replacing a stormwater culvert, water line and sewer line near 1121 S. Morgan St. starting Tuesday, February 22.  The 1100 and 1200 blocks of S. Morgan St. (between Ella St. and Lawrence St.) will be closed to thru traffic for approximately five weeks.  Local access will be allowed for residents only.  Expect personnel, vehicles and equipment in the roadway in this area.  Monitor the City’s website (www.cityofshelby.com), and Facebook and Instagram accounts (@cityofShelby) for updates.  The City appreciates your cooperation with this critical infrastructure improvement.  If you have any questions, please contact Customer Services at 704-484-6866.
