The Customer Services Department is located in City Hall at 300 South Washington Street and is open without appointment for payments by cash, check or money order, Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. An appointment is needed to set up new service, transfer service or set up a payment arrangement. Please call the Customer Service number below if you have any questions or need to set up an appointment.

Request for services outside regular service hours can also be made by dialing 704-484-6866. Select option four for outside regular service hours.  Your call will be transferred to the Shelby Police Department for utility dispatch. If you have a utility emergency, please dial 911. Emergency utility services are available 24 hours daily. The City charges for some services performed outside regular business hours. The charges are in accordance with the Schedule of Fees and Charges.
