Notice: The public is hereby notified the City Council of the City of Shelby will hold its regular meeting of Monday, February 19, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the Don Gibson Theatre located at 318 South Washington Street, Shelby, NC next to City Hall. The relocation of the meeting venue from City Hall Council Chamber is necessitated by ongoing repairs which cannot be completed at this time. 

Public access to this meeting is available. This meeting will also be livestreamed via Facebook Live which can be accessed on your personal device. 

Public Hearing – The Shelby City Council will conduct a public hearing during this meeting.  Persons interested in being heard on this matter are invited to comment at the hearing, whether for or against.  Speakers must appear in person by signing up with the City Clerk by 5:45 p.m.  Comments may be presented orally at the hearing, in writing prior to the hearing, or both.
