Professional certification and continuing education programs,  and fleet, facility and supply chain management in the Fire & Rescue Department are coordinated through the Office of Professional Development & Logistics.

Professional Development & Logistics Officer: Chelsey Martin

 Chelsey Martin has been with the Fire & Rescue Department since 2015.  She holds numerous professional certifications and is a Level I Code Enforcement Officer.  She is a certified instructor, life safety instructor, and water rescue technician.  Chelsey is a graduate of American Military University where she earned her undergraduate degree in emergency management.  Prior to her employment with the city,  she served with various mission organizations in Ukraine and later was director of aquatics for the Dover Foundation YMCA in Shelby.
