Appearance Award

The Appearance Committee is responsible for evaluating and recommending nominations for the Commercial Appearance Award and the Effie Murphy Wallace Residential Award to the board throughout the year.  The Appearance Committee selects recipients for the Seasonal Award which recognizes properties with holiday and seasonal decorations. Keep Shelby Beautiful Fred Blackley Service Award

The Keep Shelby Beautiful Fred Blackley Service Award is presented to the individual or organization who has given freely of themselves to help keep Shelby beautiful and improve the quality of life within the community. The award is named after the first recipient, Fred Blackley, who has given, and continues to give freely of his services.
