Home Menu"Coats for Kids" Campaign
The Shelby Police Department is hosting a community “Coats for Kids” drive requesting new or like new coats and hooded sweatshirts for students in our local elementary schools during the month of November. See the information below for details on how you can join in this worthy cause to help keep our kids warm!!
As the chill of winter approaches, we're reaching out to you with a heartfelt request. Our local elementary school-aged children need your help and support to stay warm during the colder months. Many of these kids come from families facing financial challenges and economic barriers. A warm, lightweight coat can make all the difference.
We're launching a "Coats for Kids" campaign again this year and are appealing to you for your generosity. Your donation of coats and hooded sweatshirts new or like new, in children's sizes x-small - adult size large will bring comfort and smiles to the faces of these young learners. By providing them with these essential items, you'll be contributing to their well-being; ensuring they can focus on their studies without distraction from the cold.
Donating is easy; simply drop off your coats at any of the locations listed below.
With your help, we'll make sure they find their way to the kids who need them most! This "Drive" will run from November 1-30.
Every coat you donate represents a gesture of kindness that will be felt by a child in need. Let's work together to keep our community's youngest members warm and thriving. Together, we can make a difference and show these kids that our community cares about them and that they are important!
