The Property and Evidence of the Shelby Police Department is overseen by the Professional Standards Sergeant and maintained by the Evidenced Specialist.

Property/Evidence maintains all property that is taken in as evidence of a crime, public safety or abandoned property.

The evidence office normal schedule is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Property that is eligible for release may be picked up by calling a member of our staff above to set up a time for pick up and any requirements for the property to be released.
