Welcome to Shelby CARES

Shelby CARES is an opportunity for residents of Shelby to provide the necessary information to help first responders better serve you or your loved ones in the case of an emergency and is particularly helpful to first responders in the event that you or someone you love is reported missing.

The program is a survey that can be filled out by a resident or a caregiver and provides information about a resident that may require special assistance. Medical information such as cognitive conditions, visual or hearing impairments, health conditions, medications, and emergency contacts are just some of the ways you can provide EMS, Law Enforcement, and Fire personnel with vital information to use when responding to your situation.

All information provided is confidential and will only be used by emergency dispatchers and first responders in the event of an emergency.
