The City of Shelby Fire & Rescue is a partner agency with the Cleveland County Emergency Management in a Type II Search & Rescue team and a technician level  Hazardous Materials Response team.  These teams are readily available to immediately respond to incidents within Cleveland County, or for deployment as requested by North Carolina Emergency Management (NCEM) to regional or statewide disasters.  Click the sub-tabs to the under Special Operations Section to learn more.
