On Thursday, May 19, 2022, the City of Shelby hosted the 23rd annual NCAMES Lineman's Rodeo. The rodeo brought linemen from across the state to compete in a series of skills challenges.  The event was held at the Cleveland Community College Training Grounds located at 1820 E. Marion St., Shelby, NC.
