This section of the Carolina Thread Trail offers a shady walk along the First Broad River and connects the First Broad River Trail to Grover Street with a natural surface path. The trail ends at the connection to the future Carolina Harmony Trail. The Carl Spangler Trail is named to honor a beloved Cleveland county community leader and Carolina Thread Trail supporter.
